BangQuark exists because of a pattern we kept seeing: small businesses paying agency prices for junior work, locked into contracts, reading reports they didn’t understand, for results nobody would stand behind.

The story

Our team has set up and managed digital campaigns for more than 300 small businesses across the UK — plumbers, heating engineers, clinics, local brands. Years of that work teaches you something no marketing course does: what a high-converting ad for a drainage company in Sheffield actually looks like, and why it’s nothing like the one for a boiler installer in Bristol.

It also teaches you why small business owners distrust agencies. They’ve been sold “brand strategy” when they needed a phone that rings. They’ve signed 12-month contracts for month-one enthusiasm. They’ve been handed dashboards instead of answers.

BangQuark is our answer: take everything we know converts for local businesses, productise it at a price a one-van business can justify, and strip out every practice that made people distrust this industry — the contracts, the markups, the account hostage-taking, the jargon.

Five rules we don’t bend.

Flat fees or nothing

Percentage-of-spend pricing rewards agencies for spending more of your money. Flat fees reward us for being efficient with it. We’ve only ever charged flat fees.

The client owns everything

Ad accounts, pixels, landing pages, data. Agencies keep these hostage so leaving hurts. We set everything up in your name from day one.

Vertical beats generic

A campaign for a Sheffield drainage company and one for a Bristol boiler installer look completely different. Knowing those differences — from having run both — is the entire value.

AI assists, people decide

We use AI heavily: drafting ads, monitoring accounts, answering out-of-hours enquiries. But every budget decision and every customer-facing word is approved by a person whose name is on the account.
